It looks like there is a primary, and secondary fuel filter on my coach generator {10 KW } , is this correct ?
One is on the gen set, the other in under the front of the coach.
yes, the primary is under the front and secondary on the gen set. The first is a water separator (if same as our 10KW)

Thank you John , This is what i tough , It looks like the Primary is a Racor filter and the second on the gen set just a napa one
Where do you get your Racor filters from John , Other than , Les hall Vancouver ?
By the way John your suggestion to go see Hagel was great , it worked out perfect ,he will be doing our couch in ulta leather
At a considerable lower cost that bringing in one from California
Thanks again
Rob
Did they start the Racor in 2000? I just looked under my 1999 and don't see a filter. I changed all the fuel lines when I first got the coach and never found anything before the generator engine fuel filter.
Craneman, look in the fwd DS compartment where the gen radiator is located. It might be there.
That only has the Racor for my AH
Where do you get your Racor filters from John?
Go to International on Okanagan Ave and see if they can get it for you from Kelowna or see if there is a swap over solid can (without water view plastic end) with a drain tap at bottom.

NAPA should be able to cross the racor filter, I can't remember the NAPA number
Your primary looks like a block of steel at the end of the incoming fuel line-basically just a strainer.
The NAPA number is 3583
Yes the napa cross over # 33583 that goes from Racor to Wix , and this filter is more readily available and cheaper.
They claim this filter is also better
I agree on that
My generator has a racor primary that is visible when looking forward through the front passenger side tire well.
I got my Wix filter as a direct replacement for Racor at FleetPride or Camping World. They carry other brands that cross over without the sight glass . I stayed with the sight glass...for the look.
Ours is a Napa 3386. Don't use the fleet guard plastic screw on filters. The threads will strip and shoot off of there like a rocket. Had the experience.
