Title: Stranded in chamberlain, sd start solinoid?
Post by: fouroureye on June 08, 2016, 03:48:23 pm
 >:D so all going well... ran gen down too far on diesel 1/4 tank, got file .. no start

That's ok.. now the click... lights on.. off...
Connected batteries via jumper cable s tries... then click...
Both batteries read 12.5-12.6

Solar charging both now at 13.2v

Anyone know a good service depth in chamberlain?

Sounds like a bad connection to the generator or possible bad ground, Can you put a volt meter on the battery while trying to crank the gen and if ok there check at the starter on the gen?

What happens if you start the generator, turn on boost switch, then try to start?
