Title: HWH service in Balzac, AB, Canada
Post by: BamaFan on June 14, 2016, 06:28:17 pm
We need to have a slide bladder replaced. We will be camping for two months near Kalispell, MT, so I am thinking about having Bucars RV Centre in Balzac, AB, an authorized HWH shop, do it. Can anyone here give me any insight into this shop, the quality of their work, etc.

You must be looking at Bucar's.  They are a great shop.  Living in Alberta, they are my go to.  They rebuilt a few of my lines on my past coach.  The service was amazing.  They really only deal in higher end lines so they seem to care that through the dealership.  I am curios if they can do a bladder.  Like to hear how it goes.  While you up hear, you should do the Ice Fields run between Banff and Jasper.  Top 10 drives in Canada.

They seemed to be very customer friendly when I needed some Aquahot work, but "they" talked me out of it saying that the labor rate and the Canadian taxes would make it too expensive!!  I had it done in the US.

There is a big RV center in Missoula which is not too far from Kalispell.  Bretz RV, 406-541-4800.

Bretz RV in Missoula is not a HWH authorized shop, so I may try Bucars in Balzac. Royce

Edit: I just called Bucars. They don't know what a slide bladder is, so I am still looking for a better option than driving all the way back to Nacogdoches.

As long as one is in Jasper, might as well keep going north!  ^.^d

We are spending the winter in Tucson, so I have scheduled this slide bladder job with Premier Motorcoach in Tucson. I am also trying to avoid Phoenix.

Sorry about the Bretz lead.
There is also RnR at Liberty Lake, WA.  The East side of Spokane, and they were one of the Foretravel dealers/service centers in days past.  Keith Woodruff is the man to speak with. kwoodruff@rnrrv.com, 509-462-9000, 800-873-9002.
Maybe too far off your planned course but they can do the job.

We tried to research a FT expert in that area a while ago & failed. Is your info current?  ^.^d

Yes Mike,

I used them last year and also went through there and stayed on their RV parking area.  Give them a call.

I spoke to Rob at RnR today. He claimed to be very knowledgeable about Foretravels and sounded confident that his shop could do the slide bladder replacement. The only problem might be getting the bladder from HWH in a timely manner.

You might have them order the part for you and hold it until you arrive.  ;D

When I ordered the bladders for our coach, had a little over 2 week waiting period for them to be made and then several more days for shipping
