Title: Another what is it? (oil breather???)

My friend Jim just bought a 03' 40ft tag with 2 slides 450hp Cummins. Have figured out almost everything but this little number. Anyone know what it is?

Looks like a catch can.  See if the slobber tube runs to it from the motor.

It's a sump tank with a breather used on open hydraulic systems. Curious what it's application is here.

Moroso..definitely aftermarket add-on.
I used them on my Norton and Triumph cycles.

My thought was slobber tube system also. Does the tank have a drain on the bottom?

I agree.  But easy to prove.  See if the hose coming into it is front the crankcase breather.
