Title: Moen great customer service
Post by: danieljeff545 on July 05, 2016, 07:26:52 pm
I can't say enough good things about Moen customer service.  This is a little long but they deserve some positive credit......My coach is an 1989 and the original kitchen faucet developed a leak (someone messed up This past winter  ) Well I went on line to order a new connector hose and due to the age I had to match it the best I could.  After ordering it the website said it was out of stock and my original out of production and could not be purchased. After speaking with a very polite human not a computer on the phone she advised me to take some pictures of what was need along with a web link to send it too and they would attempt to match it.

Well that link was to the warranty department.  "Steve" sent me an email stating that due to age they could not cover it under warranty.  I responded back to clarify that I was just trying to purchase out of production replacement parts and was forward to them by customer service to identify a replacement and by no means expected them to cover something that I broke.  "Steve" responded back and was very apologetic for the confusion and found. A proper replacement and sent it FREE of charge because of the confusion in the emails.  Needless to say a thank you was sent to him ASAP.  The PERECT MATCH arrived today and I'll install it tomorrow!

Moen will be in my house and coach from now on.  Service like that is very very hard to come by these days!

This is pretty standard service from them actually. 10 yrs ago I was doing reno jobs (some very big) to mostly homes and it included bathroom and kitchens mainly which of course needed some plumbing fixtures. I always told the owners that do not go anywhere else for them (unless it was one from Germany) as they stand behind their product for ages. Many times they have given me free inserts for mixing valves saying "warranty replacement" It could have been 15 yrs old but still was free.
