Title: What does this [device under engine] do?

Trying to figure out the function of (what I assume is some sort of pump) the pic below.  It's location is on the left side of engine bolted to the frame with 2 hoses coming out as well as 2 wires.

As always greatly appreciated!

I believe that's a aux pump to add more flow to the heater.i have one on my 92.😂

Yes sorry. On my switch panel is a switch that says aux pump.

So I guess those puny 6V92s don't even have enough power to push the engine coolant up to the dash heater?  :dance:

It's a long push to the front. I am sure if you were doing a bunch of cold weather driving it would be a good idea regardless of what engine you have.
