Post by: red tractor on July 24, 2016, 07:17:39 pm
Just saw an 87 33 ft Grandvilla on Tampas craigslist is on a chev chassis 101,000 miles for 2,950.00. If this was a couple of more months down the road I would buy it. The ad says it runs and drives

1987 Foretravel (https://tampa.craigslist.org/psc/rvs/5698607408.html)

Could this be a Ford chassis, says Ford on the steering wheel...this sure seems to be priced right...

Definitely Ford, beautiful coach! Bet healthy 460 wouldn't be underpowered in 33' front engine coach.

Would be better than rear engine Ford 36' Looks like if you were handy and not full of leaks/mold might be nice hobby coach. Assuming it needs motor, could get expensive.

Agree with Tim,

Would stay away from a rear engine gas coach.

I believe the front engine gas were on an Oshkosh or John Deere chassis with Ford drivetrain.  With the 460 pre-fuel injection, think 6 MPG.

Should have looked at the pictures better, This is probably a John Deere Chassis, I worked on many of them with bad exhaust manifolds which would break the ears on the heads where the mounting bolts screwed in. Replaced many heads under warranty and the new manifolds had elongated holes so they would not break the heads. 5 or 6 mpg sounds right
