The entry door roll up shade on my 1998 U320 has lost its spring and no longer retracts. Apparently the mechanism to fix this is no longer available or at least very hard to find. David Flanagan didn't have the part to fix it last fall and I've had no luck finding one either. I figured someone out there who has replaced or is going to replace their door shade with new MCD shades might have one of these that I could buy from them.
The measured dimensions of the shade itself is 25 1/2 in by 48 in. It is made of kind of a burlap/denim material with a thick vinyl layer stitched to it on the outside. I am not fussy at all as to what color it might be.
If someone has the entire shade that would be wonderful, or if I had the pole part with a working spring I could put my shade back on it.
Thanks!
There is a fine electric shade that I had installed over the steps/door, loved it, worked great for those early AM north bound sunny days. Its from MCD I think, got it thru MOT.
MCD makes a great day shade for the door- we had it put on when we were at the MCD factory getting the rest of the coach switched to MCD's and love it. The day shade fits on the screen door so it works even if you have the main door open. They also have the night shade if interested.

If you just want a quick cheap fix, just go to Home Depot and buy a roll up shade the width you need and swap out the material for now. You can do this for the short term.

Seems more like you really want a replacement.
Just take the old one to Lowes or Home Depot and they should be able to cut it to match.
Paul Yasbeck got me one from FOT ...very nice quality, $225
I ordered a replacement through FOT.
