One of the 2 lights was not working. Removed it and could not find a replacement anywhere even on the internet, but I didn't try Foretravel as their shipping is usually about $15-18 for a part. I could see a bulb inside, but it seemed to be an unrepairable item; 2 pieces of plastic glued together. Nothing to loose, so I used a utility knife to gently separate the 2 parts at the glue line. A lot of careful work with the knife and a hammer to split the parts. One of the 2 wires broken at the bulb. Wires were spot welded to the contacts inside. Had a similar bulb with side contact wires that I could straighten and solder to the contacts. While the solder was molten, flattened it with a small nail head so the parts would fit together again. After testing, reglued the 2 parts. If that had not worked, my plan was to use LED waterproof strip for the tag light. Forgot to take pictures of the process.
Great job Jerry.
For future reference they sell the OEM lights at NAPA.
I think they're big-truck stairwell lights, and I have the part number if anyone is interested.
Yes I am. Please post the number as one of mine is out. Thanks Tman

Just pushes into hole in fiberglass. We have two of them and put them in after we painted. Works very well and we recommend them as they are an easy install and after 5 years they continue to shine brightly.
NAPA part #26001, manufactured by Truck-Lite (also #26001).
