We have always carried extra lengths of sewer hose ( and water & electric too). And we are now parked at a friend's place who has hookups, but the sewer is a little distance away from our parking spot. We kept pulling out sewer hoses and with 6 lengths of 20' sewer hose we are able to dump. Fortunately the sewer opening is lower than our motorhome. So being prepared paid off for us.
,,,great idea, thanks for the reminder...been to some very high end campgrounds/resorts that had the utilities way in the back, a real challenge to get the job done.....ended up stretching hose as far as it'd go but still had to hold it down with whatever was found in the bay...barely made it...
I carry a portable macerator and 100' of cheap 3/4 hose works like a champ. Have pumped 200' up hill.
120 ft of sewer hose? 120 ft? Heck, just have to hold it!

Right now we're in a temporary camp with two MH, two 5'ers, and a TT. Poo man comes once a week to pump us out. If we could have found a cleanout we could have used the portable macerator (two available) and hoses to pump ourselves out and save the $$$.
We also carry a macerator, but don't have enough larger diameter hoses stored just for occasional use. Our 5' lengths of thin-wall PVC each can store 20" of sewer, and we have several stacked next to our propane tank. Seems like 100' of 3/4 hose would take more space, but we did use our macerator a couple of times for specialized dump situations.
Saving the dollars is not the concern of pump out. We have heard of holding tank collapse when pumped out. Pump out is risky and needs to be monitored for proper connection. Problem is caused by suction greater than the roof vent pipe can flow back in. If toilet is opened when suction is on, it would also help.
Some pump-out employees instantly turn off truck suction when not more comes out which can lead to accidents. Others have a tall 4" vent pipe at the suction that would prevent over suction. Others dump into a Rubbermaid-type container and then suck out of that. Worst case is when truck suction hose is directly connected with a sealed connection.
Barry I just store them in the bottom of one of the slide out trays and put other stuff on them. Of course I have a couple of places I know I will have to use them.
