Where can I buy an LP Gas Valve shown in attached picture? I hear hissing sound from the area of red circle I draw on the picture.
Thanks,
Michael
Check your local propane supplier.
I got mine from a camping supplier.. $27
Most any RV store. Until replaced, turn off propane at the tank. That (circled) is the HIGH PRESSURE side of the regulator.
The style is important. Since it is installed vertically, it is CRITICAL that the vent (screened area at the bottom of the regulator) be on the LONG AXIS OF THE REGULATOR. Were it installed horizontally, you would need one with the vent perpendicular to the long axis of the regulator. Same price and look the same except for location of the vent.
Common term to look for is "regulator". This one is a two stage, available from most any RV/trailer supply.
Michael,
That device is a two stage LP regulator (as mentioned above). They run about $25-35 and you can get them on-line at Amazon or any RV parts dealer or good LP supplier with a parts department.
A good brand and model is the Marshall Excelsior MEGR-291 series. They have two flow rates in this series. The MEGR-291H has a higher flow rate for applications that require a higher volume of LP (more appliances).
As Wolfe10 pointed out, you need to purchase a vertically oriented one. They make horizontally oriented ones too, but the mounting and setup for our rigs is designed for a vertically oriented unit.
When it is installed it is critical that any NPT (National Pipe Thread) joints are wrapped with either YELLOW teflon tape that is gas approved, or YELLOW pipe dope like Rectorseal #5. This will ensure joints are gas tight and do not leak. White teflon tape is not gas rated and will deteriorate and cause leaks.
Fittings that are Flare fittings do not get tape or sealant.
After install the LP pressure needs to be checked to ensure the coach's appliances are getting the correct water column inches of gas delvered to them. An LP fridge with low pressure will not cool correctly.

I have a couple of those in my "spares" box. Send me a PM with your address and I will send you one. I recommend using "Gasoila" pipe dope on the threads when installing the new regulator. You can call me at six zero 3 three 1 five eight 3 eight 0.

Thank you all so much for invaluable advices. I'm able to find one in the local RV supply store. Camco brand $34. The 'vertical' position, '2 stages' regulator, and the 'yellow' tape info are big help. The store man was WOW.. with the knowledge.. not by me. Thanks Roland for your offer. Much appreciated.
Michael
Glad you got it! I fully recommend the Marshall excelsior brand. They are right in Marshall, MI and have treated me well for all the propane parts I have ever needed for my day job. Ive even dropped in to say hello and they were great to deal with.
