For those of you considering Solar and using Lithium Batteries their is a nice article in RVLife Magazine. Here is the link to the article.

Thanks, John M.
John we are in the process of moving to Lithium. We are using an all Victron system. We have matched 720 watts of panels with 400 A of batteries. We have been working with Garret Towne at AM solar to install one of his kits. They have been both accessible and patient.
There are several installation issues for older coaches that have to be resolved. I was posting our progress but pulled it down until we are completely finished and all issues worked through. We originally considered it three phases, solar, lithium, inverter but now looking at fourth. Updating the isolator and eliminating the boost circuit for starting and using just for charging. Victron makes a battery regulator, the Cyrix, that recognizes the AGM starting batteries and the Li house battery.
I am attaching a dress rehearsal on the board. Nothing cleaned on old cables, no bundling, etc. I used a piece of plywood instead of going into the panel. We did this to facilitate movement as we learned. The top tier is solar, middle is lithium, far left is inverter.
George, I agree with you on AM Solar. They did my system and could not be happier. Great people to work with.
