Hello. New owner here. I've owned this 91 U280 for a few weeks and the water pump just started refusing to shut off from either the kitchen or bath switch. Has worked perfectly until yesterday. The only way I can shut it off is to use the "salesmans" master switch when I leave the coach for a couple of days. It is possible that I disturbed some wiring in the battery bay when I put in a progressive dynamics 9280 (one relay or what appeared to be a relay with multiple connections got knocked off the battery connection board). Any suggestions on how to begin troubleshooting this?

Rich,
Welcome to the ForeForum.
Several places that could be at fault:
Suspect you have 2 "turn water pump on/off" switches. They control a relay that then powers the pump with a pressure switch actually turning the pump on/off.
When you click one of the switches (I would try each switch) does the light indicating that the pump circuit is hot stay on or go off?
If the pump is on (light on switch on) and there is any air in the system, the pump may stay on as air will not turn off the pressure switch.
Give us more details on what is happening and we can help.
You should have a wiring diagram with your coach showing the wiring for the water pump circuit.
Did you forget to re-turn the valve that allows you to fill the tank? If you did that the pump will run continuously...
Dave is correct. But turning off the pump at either switch should still turn off the pump.
With the fill valve open, the pump basically "recirculates" water out of the potable water tank and back to it.
That happened to me and I turned on and of the fill valve a couple of time and it stopped.

Thanks to all who replied. Tried the fill valve trick when I finally found time to deal with the coach and it worked. This is a great forum!
