Ran across this Utube video on repair of the Trimark pop up compartment door latches.  Hope it's helpful to anyone with a problem.

Before buying replacements, might be a good idea to try cleaning them per the video Jon posted.

Pretty good video, but I would NOT use WD40 as a "lubricant" as he did on reassembly.

Relatively easy to interrupt ignition or start wiring circuit with a secretly located kill switch, and may be a good idea on everyone's list.
