Hello: 2002, U-270 . single slide ,36' No LED lights on lock , unlock control board. Sent HWH all 3 boards no problem, checked all fuses that i can see or know about. Waiting for HWH tek support to call back again few week wait. Turn ignition key on, then turn slide key on, orange light blinks 28sec. then turns solid, push extent red light comes on pump starts nothing happens ,no power to solenoids. Looking for a fuse that would cause this kind of problem or safety interlock, the bladder does deflate and inflate. John thank you
Hello again: Anyone know where the bladder vacuum switch is located ? Could this cause the above problem?
Hello: Need to talk out loud,Does the bladder vacuum switch turn the orange light solid? Or is it on a timer? Thank you I hope you don't mind. My wife is pulling her hair out :( John
John, on the 2002 the light is supposed to go off when a specific vacuum level is reached. On the 2001 and earlir it was based on a timer.
Not to disagree with Roger but just yesterday we started to retract our room with the valve to the slide room manifold turned off. The light flashed and then went solid but the bladder did not deflate because the venturi was not getting air. I turned on the valve and the bladder deflated normally. So I think the indicator is on a timer on my 2002 U270, not a vacuum sensor.
Our 2002 is an early model. It was built in Aug 2001 so some 2002s may have a sensor.

James Triana told me the 2002 has a timer for the slide seal vacuum. It runs for about 30 seconds and that should be sufficient time for the vacuum to deflate the seal. Those of us who have installed a switch to shut off the DC compressor need to remember to turn it back on before activating the slide key switch.
Thank you all: Went to the motor home tonight tried again, tonight red & yellow light on CR9 stayed on yellow air seal (coil) red air seal (contact) any thoughts thanks: John no call from HWH today . Any 12 volt fuse by bed?
It may have been late 2002 or even 2003 when they went to the vacuum controlled light and depressurization sequence. I think Michelle has an idea when this happened. It probably has to do with when HWH changed controllers. The 2002 slide mechanism is different from the 2001. Lots of changes going on in that period. Sorry if I misspoke.
