Title: Travel mode
Post by: lavocat on November 24, 2016, 12:36:50 pm
On my 06 Phenix I have an issue with travel mode or level system while traveling.  If I hit a rough spot or a dip in road travel mode light goes off and level system light and dinging alarm comes on and when I hit another bump it goes off. I assume it's a connection issue to a sensor but don't know where to look.  Any thougths?

The first thing I would do is get the HWH troubleshooting book for your year coach.  Then try to stop the coach when the alarm goes off and check the HWH led lights in the basement box.  It sounds to me like you have a room lock or room in sensor that is just slightly out of alignment and the lights will tell you which one.  Or possibly ID another issue for you.  The lights will not be on/off to show the problem if the alarm has reset.

X2 on that advice.  If you don't have the operator's manual for your HWH system, you can find almost all of them online.  Go to the link below, and identify your system.  Then search (Google) for the trouble shooting guide or operator's manual for that system.

If you happen to have the 2000 Series system (just a guess), then here is a link to the trouble shooting manual:

In the dash you should be able to find the back of the control panel.
There is a connector that can get loose
