Post by: lavocat on November 28, 2016, 07:54:31 pm
My plastic radiator reservoir cap has split in two. Any idea where to get a replacement?

I purchased one a few years back from Roger at RV Hydronic Heater Parts (http://www.parts.rvhydronicheaterrepair.com/)  For my aqua-hot and it was the same as the engine coolant reservoir. My coach U320 2001.

Howdy Gerald,  It has been mentioned, on the blog, that the Aqua Hot reservoir cap will work on coolant reservoir.
Here's a link:
Expansion Tank Replacement Cap - Vented (http://www.parts.rvhydronicheaterrepair.com/Expansion-Tank-Replacement-Cap-PLE-HYD-001-Vented-Cap-PLE-HYD-001-Vented.htm)
I have not tried to see if they are interchangeable.
Good Luck, Dave A

Lost mine one time, used a piece of aluminum foil till I found a new one. No pressure on tank, and is not airtight.
Basically slows down evaporation and keeps bugs out.
