Having a serious issue with the body integrity on our 2008 Nimbus CE38. The fiberglass lamination on the edges of the openings surrounding the slides is separating to a significant degree. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Back in March when we were having our side cameras added and engine door conversion, there was a 2008 at Xtreme with significant fiberglass issues, some of which looked like what you're describing.
Do a search, this has been brought up before about when the openings were cut for the slides the edges were left exposed.
This issue I have noticed on other years too. I feel that FT should have used a small thin 90 deg molding around total opening of all slides before painting. This only has to be around .032" material so it does not effect the opening for slide. It would be added if I bought a model with slide and be a clear material. I am sure there is something like this on the market.

Check with Rance at Xtreme, he will fill you in on that year coach and any issues that are recurring with any of that year coach.
When we were shopping for our coach, we initially had our sights on a Nimbus and this appeared to be a common problem that had been addressed, to some degree, on most of the coaches we looked at - along with rear cap separation. From what I understand from everyone I've talked to (technicians), the problem requires a relatively minor repair that, if done properly, leaves an unnoticeable finished edge around the affected slides. If the rear cap begins to crack - usually starting at the top corners - a seam is cut and capped to resolve the problem. Obviously the sooner the problem is addressed, the cleaner the results and less chance of additional problems from moisture so good that you caught it.

I just saw this thread...the 2008 at Extreme that Michelle mentioned is ours. We had significant delamination issues ($35k) and it was there 7 months. Extreme did a great job on this work. It was very disappointing that Foretravel felt that this was not their problem and did not cover any part of the cost.
My Nimbus is currently at Extreme with the same issue. I expect that I will be able to post progress pictures next week.
