We have not used our coach since we purchased it a couple of months ago. I have winterized it and have been working inside it with the heat on at night after work, cleaning it and reading manuals.
Tonight when I came home I heard the air compressor running and went thru its cycle and shut off. I am wondering why It came on, I do not have the leveling controls on. Is that normal? first time I heard it.
Thanks
Charlie

Normal to make sure slide bladders stay inflated, even if leveling system is off. Should run a very short time. Probably covered in your owners manual if you got them from the PO
Thanks Tim.... I do have the manuals there is much information!!!
Hi Charlie -
Hope you will enjoy your as we have ours.
Have you looked/read through - Foretravel Motorhome technical help and information links (http://www.beamalarm.com/foretravel-links/foretravel-technical-help.html)
Lots of generic FT stuff in there by topic. Much of it relates to your coach.
:D
yes, the manuals are thick and intimidating. The engine pump runs the suspension. The aux pump (12 volt on early models, 115V on later ones) manages the level of the coach when leveling is on, and the slide bladder pressure. I believe the computer "wakes up" every 30 minutes to check and fill as appropriate.
