I suspect that our water pump is dying. What's the current thinking of what to put in?
I would consider a variable speed water pump, be cause you can bypass the pressurized water tank. Just my thought.
Before you write your pump off, check the latching relay (on the other side of the coach mounted on the badly placed under coach electrical panel). It's a VW relay. But before that, remove the ground wire from the dark recesses of the compartment and bring it up, extend it and fasten it under the compartment door switch ground screw. That way, you can check your pump easily.
I had an intermittent problem and solved it by moving the ground wire. Too hard to get to the OEM ground screw.

Note: David has a U300 like ours but 40 feet so relay placement was based on that.

Don't know if this is the best one out there but is what we put in a couple of years ago. Have had some water pulsing at low flow rates but lately has been OK.

Pierce nailed it! I took the big blue obstacle out and gently tugged on the ground wire. It came free immediately, so I found a convenient ground point and temporarily connected to that point. Jo Ann turned on the pump and it was back to normal, so I made a better ground connection and put it all back together.

If you determine you need a pump get on the manufactuers site and find a reccomened replacement,check amazon.

Glad you got it fixed easily. We've had both the ground wire and the relay go bad.
OK, here is another one. If you have a "hot rod" aux electric heating rod installed into your water heater drain, you may eventually have this problem. We were at the Sky City RV Park in Acoma, NM last month for an overnight. We had a violent storm during the night and in the morning, the GFI in the bathroom tripped. I must have tried ever plug in the coach but no luck in resetting. Sat down to think it out and then I remembered we had a "hot rod" in our water heater. Turned the switch off and presto, the GFI reset. Enough rainwater had gotten into the water heater compartment to trip the GFI. As soon as we were underway again and everything dried out, the heater was OK.
Sky City is a good overnight on I-40, especially if you get a "player's membership card" before registration. Only $16 then, otherwise $22. Super clean restrooms, etc but no shade if traveling in summer.
