Went out to the coach last night and noticed the front ceiling mirror cracked on one corner. It cracked while parked...we have had some temp swings in CT we where at 9 degrees 3 days ago and yesterday it was 55 degrees. Could temp have caused it? Fatigue?
I could understand it I was running down the road and the body started to flex.... Hard to change out?
Thanks
Charlie
Charlie, I do not have the recessed ceiling etc but I think those panels are just velcroed together, I know my friends C Coach ones snap into place but FT seemed to believe in velcro. Sure someone has had this and will pipe up soon.

Charlie, the recessed mirror in the ceiling in my bedroom developed a crack from the fan to the outside edge at 90 degrees from centerline of coach, from unknown causes, probably stress. I discussed it with Steve Flanigan at FOT. Replacement was mega bucks, maybe it would be cheaper without the fan. Seems to me that those are front surface mirrors, anyway what we decided to do was fabricate a plywood decorator radial and cover it with complimentary material and glue it over the crack with an identical one on the opposite side (180 degrees from each other). Wound up looking really good, maybe even an improvement. Maybe something like this might work fo you.
Now that is using your head and most probably is a good idea depending on location of crack of course.

Crack the rest of the mirror so it all matches.
We have a 2008 Nimbus CE and both out front and bedroom mirrors have crack within the last year, and, like you, for no known reason (we live in the south so temperature extremes were not the cause).
