Our 2008 Nimbus CE 338 has the small crank-out windows. The glass has come away from the frame on one of the bedroom windows. Any suggestions on what cement/glue I should use to repair this. Sent two inquiries over a 7 day period to Technical Support but so far no reply. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Can you post a picture?
Not sure of the window brand, but see this post from Mark Quasius regarding what he used on Hehr windows Hehr Window Delamination - iRV2 Forums (http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/hehr-window-delamination-285534.html#post3009952)
ETA - post number 15 of that thread is his tutorial on how to do it
Thanks, was very helpful.
Wanted to post pics but it requires that I enter the "image URL". Have no idea where to find the image URL for a pics in my Gallery folder. Sorry
Norman,
Assume you have the Sei-Gi (sp?) windows? The name is etched in one corner of the window. That is what I have on my '07 with the lower part being the crank-out. There was a recall on this brand of windows because the adhesive that holds the window to the mechanism and frame was failing over time. They can fall completely out of the frame while traveling. One of mine almost fell out.
FOT will order and replace them with new.
