Title: What is this drain and why is it dripping?
Post by: ScubaGuy on January 30, 2017, 05:05:41 pm
We are parked on a concrete slab, and I noticed a small drip under the coach.  It is basically inline with the waste drain but slightly more inboard.  It is a piece of pex extended below the bottom of the coach a quarter inch.

I pulled down the wall to the wet bay, and was a little suprised to find it runs right up thru the floor of the coach.  It appears to go up into the area behind the washer/dryer cabinet.  It is basically inline with the dryer vent.

Rather than pull out the washer, I figured I would ask if anyone knew what it goes to and/or why is it dripping?

Here are some pics of the drain line.

That would be the condensate drain from your fridge.

If you still have the OEM Dometic.

Douglas, open up your sidewall vent cover and you will see the condensate drip line, probably blue PEX, maybe another color but PEX.  Is it the same color as what sticks down through the basement floor?  Mine went down towards the floor turned 90° towards the back of the coach, another 90° turn and exited through the floor near the water manifold.
