Title: Davco Fuel Pro 382 vs Cummins Fuel Pro FH230
Post by: Ed W on February 09, 2017, 01:38:11 pm
Are these two filter systems the same? It would appear to me DAVCO is the manufacturer and Cummins puts their label on. Does anyone have pictures of their installation of one of these systems on the ISM engine? What heater option should be used? Best place to purchase?

Thank you,

The Cummins FH230 is a rebadged Davco. With the warm climates a motorhome operates in, no heater should ever be needed. I dont know about yours, but my Foretravel does not have a heater anywhere in the fuel system, nor do I think one would help. If its cold enough for the fuel to gel up, its too cold for me to be RVing.

You need number one Diesel.  More kerosene.  Fuel tank is heated by returning hot fuel
