Hi All.
I did the search thing here, but could not find the part number for the compartment door chrome button switch's for the lights. They look really familiar, but I can not find them online.
We have a 1997 U295
Any help would be appreciated. If you have a link, maybe you could post it.
Thanks Chris

If you have converted your bay lights to LEDs then a 10 amp mechanical switch with exposed screw terminals on the back (easy to short out) and very short connecting wires may not be the only choice.
These are pre-wired NO (normally open) 10 watt magnetic proximity switches for windows. The switch closes (lights on) when the separation is 3/4-1" for less than $5.

A heavier duty one (but may be bigger than you want) less than $8.

Rodger,That's a great idea. The 1st one looks like a Kwikie step switch. I have a few of those at home, both n/o and n/c ..............The push button's do work with my LED bulbs, but your right, hard to wire up. The exposed terminals are scary.
Thanks
I use a heat gun and shrink tubing if it isn't practical to use--what else?--SHOE GOO!
