Does anyone know where I can get a ladder for the back of a Nimbus? FOT no longer carries nor installs them due to liability reasons. Trust me an attached ladder is a hellofalot safer than leaning one up against it or a really tall step ladder!
Thanks,
Pat
Pat, give Lance Hayes over at OldTown Motorcaches in Nacogdoches a call. With a try.
Pat,
Try Visone RV and also I think there was another in Kentucky, may be the same one but
the parts place had several Foretravels and other high Class A's in stock.
Carter-
Check for parts at Xtreme paint and graphics they take off during repaint
How will you be able to raise the engine door with a ladder mounted there? Just a thought.
Bob
It comes in two sections. One on the door and one on the back of the coach.

Great replies! Thank you all. And yes, it is a two piece ladder.
Hey, Bruce--We are replacing a u320 style ladder with a new one. You are welcome to the old one at no cost. A big boy stepped on one side pretty hard.: Warning. 20 Year Old! It's in NAC and we can put it aside for you. Very straight frame, one popped rung. Let me know. Paul
If you are to get this one Bruce, it's super simple to replace the plastic inserts for the rungs. They do wear out over time, but once you replace all of them, the ladder looks much better, and feels much more stable. It took about an hour to replace them all. If it is one of the rungs that needs to be replaced, I'm sure you can easily source that, also, and since you have to remove those to replace the plastic inserts anyway, it won't add any additional time to the job.
I do still use a standard seven foot ladder when at home, and only need to use the top couple of rungs of the FT ladder. It's just easier on bare feet to step on the flat rungs of a regular ladder, and might as well preserve the FT ladder when possible.
