Title: Fire Safety - from FMCA
Post by: Gerry Vicha on March 01, 2017, 08:44:33 pm
I just watched this video from FMCA on Fire Safety,  As a 36 year retired professional Firefighter, I can atest to this being one of the most informative basic educational videos I have seen.

Thank you for this post.  New quality extinguishers are on the "in the next 14 days to do list".  Have a auto HFC 227ea in the outside refrig. vent.  Thinking dry chemical (Amerex) 5lb x 4 for the coach.  I do not like the mess dry chemical makes but don't really have the $$$ to pour $500.00 into a few decent size HFC extinguishers right now.  The extinguisher on the 2002 coach now is the orig. from FT, so it has got to go.  Any thoughts?
Good post.
Thanks,
dave

Excellent video and info.

I have two of these Kidde fire extinguishers, one in the bedroom and one next to the passenger seat next to the door.  I also have a 7lb extinguisher in the LP tank bay, and one of these Tundras that is kept on the counter next to the cooktop.

I hope I (nor anyone else) don't ever have a need for any one of them!
