Very ingenious BUT, I wonder if its a comfortable sofa.
Maybe ingenious, but a uncomfortable bed and a terrible sofa.

Beds, Whatis the best replacement mattress?  After cutting the spring set in half to remove it, 2  30X80 mattresses looks like a logical  step.  Getting the engine cover up with a one piece looks difficult at best.
What have others used?  Thanks,MM

There has been discussions on this before, lots of info. Why did you have to cut the mattress to remove it? I have always been able to twist it and haul it out the front. I installed one of the memory foam 14" queens in ours. There is mention on the air spring posts also. The bed will lift up with help and ours stays up when extend is reached.

I cut the spring set out. It would not fold enough to get out of the door.  I did a search and nothing really comes up with a solution to the 60 x80 mattress. I am looking at  two 30 x80  .
