Title: Lug Nut Covers, Hubcaps
Post by: jor on March 12, 2017, 03:45:49 pm
Anyone have a source for these lug nut caps? Last time I got them from Foretravel. The ones I find on the interwebs all seem to have a little shoulder on them or are a different shape.

Also, I need a front hubcap (baby moon). Truck stop? Thanks.

I got mine at a truck stop.  Plenty of selection and not too expensive.

John,

A year ago we bought 20 lug nut covers for $26.40.  Ours are Alcoa 0486150.  The part number is cast into each lug nut cover.  Check yours to see if it is the same.  They are plastic with spring metal insert, 1.5" hex shaped.

Ours look like yours.  We have Bud wheel nuts.  Covers are Alcoa brand and the new ones we bought are also Alcoa.

We bought replacement center metal hub caps from a truck parts store.  Common and real cheap.  We used a hole saw to remove the center so we can look in on the hub's oil level anytime we want.

BOUGHT FROM:
Clearance items :: ALCOA HUG-A-LUG 1-1/2" SPRING LOADED HEX NUT LUG COVER (http://www.cbdistributing.com/alcoa-bulk-1.5-hex-nut-covers.html)

ALSO SEE THEM ON FOR MORE $
Amazon.com: ALCOA HEX NUT COVER 1.5": Automotive (http://www.amazon.com/ALCOA-HEX-NUT-COVER-1-5/dp/B00BLPL1QK)

Any large interstate truck stop should have what you need, those with a truck wash or wheel polishing usually have a good selection. Expect to pay less than $ 1 each for nut covers and less than $ 10 for hub covers.
If you are in the area the I-80 truck stop in Iowa it all,............."Chrome won't get you home" but you will look good on the side  b^.^d
