Title: Retractable Entry Step Question
Post by: Travelin' Man (RIP) on April 05, 2017, 06:02:15 pm
My entry steps were out when I thought they were in and here's a picture of the result.  Everything works fine and they retract and stow properly.

It appears that I merely need to bend them back into alignment, but it may not be that simple.

Has anyone been here before?

My steps had become whacked by hitting one too many curbs when opening the door. I removed the step assembly and heated up the bent frame bars with a propane torch and then hammered them straight. They are better but not great. Your steps appear to be pushed up. My steps were pushed back (towards the back of the coach, not into the center of the coach). I have since installed a switch that prevents the steps from going out when I park along a curb or when it is sitting for storage.
