Also my water pump is having a weird issue. Somehow I hit the fill switch under the sink.. now pump is running is short spurts and sound strange. switch was on for a while (not sure if that does anything with the water pump or a different pump). Thinking I might need a new water pump.
I just bought this on e for my sink.

Thank you. Ordered one
If someone has the bar in the shower , would you. BE able to check the measurements? If this is the same I'd like to order it and have it by the time I get the coach back
How much do you actually adjust the height of the shower hand held? We found a very nice Moen with a single point mount/holder for the handheld. Use it either way. We were looking for one with a bar and realized we never change the height.
I am 6' and my wife is 5' 4".. my head sits in the skylight so the head for me is in the skylight right above my head so it need to adjust at least for me, as for her she can catch the water on its way down :))
An added plus is I didnt want to patch holes or make new ones if its not needed
Do you absolutely need to replace the bar?
We simply replaced the hose and the head. Went with this Oxygenics Fury Fury Handheld Shower, Nickel - Oxygenics 92481 - Shower - Camping World (http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/fury-handheld-shower-nickel/83903) Awesome shower head!
Kitchen sink - we went fancy and put in the Grohe Ladylux Plus after seeing it in one of MOT's sale coaches. We had a height restriction due to a cabinet above the sink, and this fit the bill. Absolutely LOVE this faucet! Ladylux Plus Single-Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet - Touch On Kitchen Sink... (http://amzn.to/2oDWjnj)
Michelle, the main issue with the bar...its brass and I am slowly changing everything that is brass out to oil rubbed bronze.. So While I am there id like to remove it and replace with the new style.. Kitchen Faucet will be changed to ORB also.
David, our shower head is as high as we could make it. We are both 6' or more. The holder used the upper screw holes. Bottom holes were filled in with epoxy. Sanded out and polished.
I'm new to the forum and can't see where to post my own post so I'm adding on to this one...
We've been full-time for 15 months now (it was supposed to be FOUR, but hey, life happens... we bought a property and are remodeling it and living on-site) and I'm getting my husband to upgrade some things. He won't put in a clawfoot tub or my washer and dryer, dang it... so I'm settling for new faucets. This was his bachelor vacay-rig before we started dating.
Now, nearly a decade into having a "lady's touch" and since we sold our home and went full-time, we've made a few changes to make it more livable than life in 1993. We put in new AC units. I re-did our bedroom valances (no more paisley!), and we took out the carpet and installed walnut flooring that matches our other wood really nicely. It's like being in a sailboat. A sailboat with old, ugly kitchen and bathroom fixtures...
A couple weeks ago, the kitchen faucet stopped working. (Note: we are hooked up to a water hose, but the hot water heater leaks so I generally fill the tank and run from that). He replaced the cracked hot water thingie, and like magic, a bunch of crusty stuff came out of the faucet and suddenly, no more water in the kitchen. We think it's the original Moen (he bought the rig in 2002ish), so he took the faucet apart and got it to flow haphazardly. Seems to be a common Moen problem.
We've since purchased new (modern - halleluia!!!) faucets for the kitchen and the bathroom. I was going to install the bathroom faucet because I've done it in our house, and when I got under the sink, realized there's only one hose - and the faucet has two - both hot and cold. I don't want to mess anything up, and I'd like to get this done without saying, "Honnnneyyyyy, can you pleeeeaaaase stop what you're doing and come fix what I broke???"
I'm thinking I'll have this same issue in the kitchen, but haven't gotten into to it that deep yet.
I wish there was a "Vintage Foretravel Upgrades for Dummies" manual... I'd totally buy it. I'm hoping this forum does the job!!!
Any upgrade makes life so nice.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, y'all!!!
Look closer you will find 2 hoses. Follow the one hose back to where it originates.
You're right!!! Thank you, the second was a black one tucked behind and not visible to me without a stronger flashlight... THANKS!!!
