Well we are four days away from our first outing with the new to us Coach. I dewinterized it this weekend and dumped some bleach in the hose into tank...all worked great, except shower has nothing to it. I did not turn on W/D combo as its not needed for awhile...but I got not even a whisper out of shower head. I removed head and I checked ball valves at water manifold...any brilliant idea here at the staff...?
Don't know if it will help now but when I get done winterizing our coach I make sure ALL faucets and valves are open and all aerator screens are off the faucets. In the spring everything then moves freely, and the calcium/crud coming out the lines does not plug the aerator screens.
I had an outside faucet on our house stick shut after I turned on the well and tried to open the faucet. It was stuck so hard I thought I would end up breaking it. Remembered JD Stevens advice about percussive persuasion. Tapped the faucet several times and it popped free!!
Does your shower have a cut off so to save water when showering? I would certainly check that. Best of Travels.
I don't know where a shut off would be except at the manifold. It has a shut off at the head and that has been checked. I even took the shower head off and made sure its off and not causing any issues...got my head scratched I can tell you that...
Also check the main block to see if it was turned off for some reason..
Double check your fill valve to make sure it's all the way closed. Easy to leave open and then you have no pressure with the onboard pump. Ours in under the bath cabinet sort of hidden away. Ball valve turns 90 degrees. I have forgotten to open it when I wondered why no water was going into to tank and forgotten to close it when I turned on the pump and it ran all the time.

Mike,
Is the coach hooked up to shore water or are you running off the fresh water tank?
Are all the other fixtures working properly?
Did the shower ever work since you've owned your FT?
Do you need to pull the shower mixing valve/faucet handle outward to turn it on?
Hooked to shore power. Put about 20 gals in tank by turning on fill valve with button in water bay. Turned that off and every other faucet works great. Did not work with ice maker of W/D. I blew air threw it last year during winterizing process. Yes it is a pull out mixing valve. I can't hear anything when I pull it out. I did not use shower since I bought coach but was able to blow air like I said...
Pierce...excuse my lack of intel on your quesion. Mine is an electric valve and I did shut that off after my filling session..
Main block I assume is the manifold and yes it is turned on correctly..as the others are. I did turn off W/D valve for now...Won't need them..
I just remembered having to change out the Moen shower valve cartridge in our U295 when dry camping in Minnesota once. It would get cold but no hot. A visit to the Ace hardware took care of a new cartridge and the tool to remove the old one.
Can I ask if you used potable RV antifreeze at all or just air for your winterization?
Having a U320, that should mean you have an AquaHot, and just blowing compressed air through is not adequate for the AquaHot or you risk serious damage to the unit.
Did you try just cold water with shower head removed, and when you opened shower valve did the pump start running (even tho' no water may come out?)
If the pump does not start up with shower valve open but all others (taps open) then it sounds like there is a blockage somewere in line that is not allowing the line pressure off to give signal to pump??

Yes I sucked antifreeze through system..but first I blew it all out..
No pump would start with shower valve open on cold or hot...with shower head removed.
there is nothing leaking under coach either...
If you have anti siphon valve between hose and main mixer valve , try removing it ?
Sounds like the manifold valve is off or plugged up
How can one be sure that the valves marked 'washer' do not control the shower?
Exactly what I was thinking Barry. Turn on the washing machine and take a shower Mike.
That is a good point except I didn't turn off W/D valves until later last night...and I had already tested shower to no avail...so back to zero...
Let me run this up your flagpole. Should I pull the panel in front of manifold and blow air through with shower valve open??? :o
Maybe try blowing air backwards through the line. If there is a clog maybe it would just it free. Then when water flows maybe it would pass on through.
Is your water pump on? Are you getting water elsewhere?
I had our shower quit giving water,, no nutttin.... It was a $5 vacuum breaker @ the point where the flex shower hose goes into an elbow to the wall.
Spin off the shower hose and the vacuum breaker @ the elbow...
I Hit up a plumbing shop and wallah! water flowed
Well SS you were right...I found it before I read your post...but that was it. I didn't know what its name was but that was the culprit. Took the hose off the L fitting and turned the water on and here come the pressure. I'm soaking it all in vinegar tonight and put together tomorrow night. I don't think I need a new one...it just had crap in it.
Again I bow to you all for the help...Only one more issue that I know of...air level light on dash and the dinger going...bus goes to travel mode fine...the bladders blow up fine on slides...it levels the coach and it will raise the coach...So God only knows what lies ahead... :o
Just in case you need one;
Delta U4900-PK Vacuum Breaker - Walmart.com (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Delta-Vacuum-Breaker/20578669)
Delta Faucet U4900-PB-PK Universal Showering Components Vacuum Breaker,... (https://www.amazon.com/U4900-PB-PK-Universal-Showering-Components-Polished/dp/B0064TX99A)
If your fix doesn't work, consider throwing it. Shower works fine without the vacuum breaker.

CLR is your best friend for this.

If you can read the manufacturer's name, call them. They'll send them another for free.
If you flush the system, make sure to check faucet filters periodically because all the particulates will want to flush through and cause blockage. Sage counsel from the mother vessel.
Since this was one of the topics never updated with the part number or the actual fix mentioned above.. 2002 U320 shower mix or mixing valve Part number Cartridge number 1225 B Moen
