I need advise on the Winn 20/20 air and water purge control box located next to the remote starter. I've been replacing switches and anything that looks like it might give me a problem on the road. I found the following in the archive and would like to get some feedback on it.
"That little black box is the component that failed on our coach. It also controls the power that operates the fuel assist pump in the armature that mounts the glass Winn 20/20 fuel filter. We were having problems with "fuel starvation". Repair procedure per the Cummins manual is to ditch the whole Winn 20/20 and that purge feature, replace the old armature with a very simple one that holds a regular water separating fuel filter. Repair cost ... very reasonable. Diagnosing problem ... LOTS of time & therefore costly."
If replacing this box is recommended, what exactly do I replace it with? Has anyone done this?
Thanks
This is one option: Racor RK12963 Retrofit Kit (http://beamalarm.com/Documents/racor_rk12963_retrofit_kit.html)
A great site if you aren't familiar with it.

Sure like the newer 700 system
MOT did our swap after Keith explained the upgrade from our old Winns to the Racor posted above. Works well for the last two years.
