Good morning, friends. In the drawing set for our coach, there's one for a 12v to 24v converter. I've looked in the usual places but don't see a converter and also wonder what would require 24vdc. A search of the forum produced very little. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark
Large equipment needing more power use to sometimes run 24 volts....off road, industrial, cold climate, military, boats, etc. Before that they used air starters and sometimes "pony motors". I can't imagine a need in a motorhome, unless it was a generic drawing including other stuff.

I could be wrong, but it appears to be right there on the schematic page you included.
"Elect. Shade Wiring Harness" and the "OPX, IPX circuits".
It also says the converter is located at the foot of the bed and the other stuff is under the fridge (that would be Intellitec lighting controls).
If your coach has power shades, apparently they are 24V. Likely was an option in 2003. I'm guessing OPX, IPX are the Intellitec lighting (chicklet switches for lighting) (noting that the schematics for our 2003 which did not have power shades or Intellitec lighting do not have that schematic page).
Duh! We do have electric shades throughout the coach.
I'll look under the bed again.
We do have the chicklet low voltage controls and I know the controller is labeled PMC and yes they are under the refrigerator. Looking now at the Intellitec website I see that the switch panels are called IPX.
I feel silly, should've read more carefully and put 2 & 2 together!
Thanks, Michelle.
