John, Carquest auto store in the past had a under $500 price for 8D8G GEL batteries. They had to get them from a warehouse. All are exactly the same (color, posts, ratings, but with different labels. Other auto stores may also have them well priced. My experience is that each auto parts store will price them differently and also differently for different customers, especially if told a customer has their own repair business back home. They often will do the heavy lifting to install and take away the cores.
