Title: Sliding table top
Post by: Beowulf on August 05, 2017, 02:29:51 pm

Has anyone seen a table bracket like this?  I have the J-dinette in the WTFE floor plan. The table moves a few inches in one direction. I am hoping to find a mount that gives more flexibility. I have been unsuccessful in finding this Nuova Mapa mount in the US.

Thanks,

Thanks David. I am more interested in the table top sliding & rotating mechanism than the telescoping leg. The listings in Oz state they won't ship to the US. The manufacturer is in Italy.

LTV uses a sliding/rotating mechanism on the table in their Serenity B+/C.  You might try Freedom II Serenity - Sprinter-Forum (https://sprinter-source.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=58) to see if anyone has a manufacturer/source.  You can see the table in action if you go to Leisure Travel Van's YouTube channel and look for a recent Serenity video.

We have a member on here (Mr B2) that lives outside of Melbourne.
He probably would ship one to you in Albuquerque.

You might go over here (http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f7/u-dinette-eti-slider-or-dicor-9480-3.html) and review some of the threads on table pedestals and sliders.  Looks like a combination of a Springfield pedestal and Dicor slider would work for your interests.

Michelle, the one LTV uses looks promising. I will see if they will sell one thru parts

T-Man,  that is a good option and might be the easiest way to get one from Oz

Bill, it appears Dicor stopped selling the bracket and removed it from their web site. Reviews were very positive. Theirs was also imported from Italy though not from Nuova Mapa

We have a friend coming here this winter from the east coast of Ausie to look after our house while we are away in Mexico. I can email them and find out the cost to ship if anyone interested?

If they don't sell direct, try a local LTV dealer.  Not sure where you're located, but group of 3-4 that includes Wagon Trail in Vegas and Van City in St. Louis is awesome.

That table top would be easy to make in a nice hardwood (so slides etc move freely) It could then be affixed to a regular metal stand used in RV's and save  $s.
