Title: 12 vdc power for Domedic rm4808 refrigarator
Post by: pthurman48 on August 14, 2017, 01:32:42 pm
On my 95 U-240, I have blown a fuse/circuit breaker supplying 12vdc power to the Domedic rm4804 refrigatator.  Where is the fuse or circuit breaker?

Pat,

First locate and remove the white fiberglass cover that protects the breaker panel that is located in your basement. This is where some of the stuff that is on the B-2126 print is located.
The breaker should be the top breaker that is in the line of breakers that is behind the cover you just removed. This is a manual reset breaker that you may need to reset. You will just need to press the little button that is located on the breaker with the eraser end of a pencil. If the button pops back out you either have a short or a bad breaker.

Good Morning All,
Thanks Mike for your help, you were spot on.  The breaker reset and now got good 12vdc to refrig again.

BTW, I was doing a blow out and cleanup on propane burner when I did this.  The burner was fullllllll of rust and refrig operation was intermittent and poor.

cleaning out the rust from chimney above is a service that should be done before every season or at least 6 months.
Taking off the burner tube and sanding the slots also makes a better flame.
