Title: Diagnostic Port - is this it?
Post by: Numbers on August 15, 2017, 12:43:15 pm
1998 U-320 M11 Celect Plus.

In a different thread I was asking about engine coolant temp while climbing grades.  Replies were very helpful and suggested using Silverleaf or Scangauge D for more accurate gauge readings.  Silverleaf and Scangauge use either a J1708 or J1939 diagnostic port.

In the photo below, is this the J1708 6-pin diagnostic port I would use for these systems?  It's under the dash on the left side.

Thank you,
Chris

Chris,

Yes, that is where I have my VMSpc adapter inserted. My laptop is running the VMSpc software.

Have Fun,
