I have been using V 4.03 on an old XP machine for several years. (and I love it.) I just downloaded V 4.0.6b to a Windows 10 tablet. The text inside the gauges is a light brown color and the values are in white. In the older version they were both black and much easier to read. The manual has only a sentence or two about changing text color that I cannot follow.
I posted a question about this on the SilverLeaf forum but that forum does not seem to be very active. I expect someone in our family here (Roger) has already experienced and overcome this.
Thanks
To change text color, click on advanced and select text color at the bottom. Lots of color choices.
To change background color select the individual gauge and select the change color button
In the 4.0.x versions ...
For a specific gauge background color rt click on the gauge, click on change color, select ot creat a color, click on OK, be sure to check Use Custom Color and then click on OK. To not use that color rt click and uncheck Use Custom Color.
To change the whole color pallet click on Day/Night on the main menu. Choose Color Pallet Options. Youncan select any of the standard color pallets there or create your own. You can select a day and night pallet and the time you want them to switch.
Main back ground, gauge background, gauge label, gauge text, and red, yellow and green indicator colors can be set.
Thank you Bob and Roger. It was the Day/Night thing that I was missing. I have it working now.
