Hello all. I posted a couple months ago with some questions; a few of you responded. Our big news is we just spent a rainy 4 days in Nacogdouches and bought our new, to us, Foretravel. It is a 2008 40' Nimbus SE 340 and we are on the road with it. We bought it at Motorhomes of Texas and couldn't have asked for better service. Our salesman, Mel, did everything to help us decide on the coach and then helped get all the little repairs taken care of. They even let us spend the night on their lot. Anyone in the market for a new a Foretravel I highly recommend Mel.

Congratulations and welcome to the club of Foretravelers. What part of the country will you be keeping your new Nimbus, or will you be living aboard?
Jan & Richard, Burg Eltz. One of our favorites.
Congratulations!
And welcome aboard Linda & John.
Welcome to the family!
Please add your coach information to your signature block on your profile page. In that way we know what coach you're talking about on any post.
Good to have you as members. Congratulations on your rig.

Welcome, see you down the road! ^.^d
Congratulations on your new coach, Many smiles ahead.
Howdy neighbor! We are looking forward to seeing your coach when we get back to Jojoba Hills around thanksgiving... it looks like a really nice coach from the pictures. I am sure that John will love the 500HP ISM and the transmission retarder, especially in hill country. You guys worked amazingly fast at getting it done, but at least you got a chance to check for roof leaks ::) See you back home!

Welcome, you will love your Nimbus. They are sweet coaches. Don't get me wrong, I love the GV's, and the U-series too!
If you FB, there is a foretravel owners group there too. Mostly pictures of folks rigs and where they are having fun in their FT. Enjoy!
Happy travels. MOT and Mel are great to deal with in buying. And the group here is wonderful in answering both dumb beginner (ask me how I know) and the most complex technical questions you may run into down the road.
Enjoy!
Thank you for all your welcomes. We will be living and traveling full time. We will spend the winter at Jojoba Hills SKP resort. I know this site is a valuable resource. One question I already have. We have plush leather driver and passenger seats with lots of controls. No information in manual. I have tried them all but can't figure out some. Any help will be appreciated.

Don Fera and Tys live there too so you have a good person to learn off even though they have a 99 U270. We like Jojoba too and dry camp there when visiting them.
