Title: Re: Pilot and Copilot Seat Controls
Post by: TulsaTrent on September 04, 2017, 04:00:40 pm
We have plush leather driver and passenger seats with lots of controls. No information in manual. I have tried them all but can't figure out some. Any help will be appreciated.

I have broken this question out into a new thread.

I do not have any kind of manuals for my seats either, and have several questions.

I am in the process of replacing the Flexsteel cockpit seats form my 2000 U295 with Villa seats from a 2003 U320. The main reason for this change is to have shoulder straps which will make my DW feel safer.

My Flexsteel seats have a black lever at the front of the arm rests. I have never known what this lever is for. It looks like it might be some kind of release to reposition the default location of the arm rests, but I do not know. Anybody know what those levers are for or accomplish?

The Villas do not have a control in that area. Is that function (whatever it is) supported in some other way on the Villas?

Thanks,

Trent

Not positive Trent but I think you are correct.

I am bumping this question again, since I only got one response in two months (thank you, Joe). I did notice that this thread had been read 120 times.  :headwall:

I would also like to know what the functions are of the different controls on the Villas. I have already discovered that one of them seems to release the seat lock, so that it can be rotated. That is certainly an improvement over having to lean over and pull on a lever to release the seat lock.

Thank you for anyone willing to take the time to share their understanding of the Villa controls.

While we are at it, we might as well document the Flexsteel controls. There might be some I have not yet discovered in my three years of ownership.

Thank you for any and all assistance y'all are willing to share with me and the forum,

Trent

Trent,
On my Villa's seat bottom sides, latch on left unlocks seat rotation. Latch on right unlatches seat back like a recliner so you can change the back incline position.
