Post by: hdff on September 22, 2017, 03:48:38 pm
I have this switch on the dash that I haven't figured out what it controls yet. Can anyone help me out with this mystery?

Can you show a picture back a little farther so I can see what other switches are there? If I see one missing that I have labeled It might be that switch.

I will have to get a different pic...

In the pic here the 3 switches you can barely see at the top are for the generator, back up camera and modes for the camera if that helps. The lights are for the generator and of course the ignition switch

There is also a switch for auto start, do you have that one?

Yes auto start is a 4th switch out of the pic.

Is this switch momentary or just an on/off?

Which power unit do you have? Like Isuzu, Kubota, Perkins?

Howdy hdff,
That switch changes the view of the back-up/rearview camera.  One position will have the camera viewing almost straight down to view the hitch, the other position will be viewing the tow.  Of course, this is if the camera/monitor is original.  We replaced/upgraded our camera several years ago.

I also have a small push button switch just to the left of the steering column mounted towards the bottom of the dash and I do not know what it controls or does?  2003 U320 4220

That push button switch mounted there sounds like it is linked to a security system.

On my 2003, is for resetting alarm, if your sensors see an alarm situation, only way to reset is turn key on and press button.

Question, there is a small momentary push button switch on the left side of the lower dash near the steering column and I am wondering what it's for or what function it has my coach is a 2003 U320 42'

Is this the same question you asked a month ago, or is this a different switch?
