We had our slide bladder seal replaced earlier this year at FOT. Amazing improvement in drawing-down the bladder and moving the slide easily.
That said, when you look at the slide from outside, it is off center diagonally. Rather than the slide being an equal distance from the coach body — looking at the opening in the coach body — all the way around, it is tight at the bottom front and VERY tight at the top rear.
We're in Oregon. Adjusting is not something Susan & I are capable of, or equipped to do. We're headed to Oregon Motorcoach in October. Is this a relatively straightforward problem — or will this prove to be something Foretravel-specific that we shouldn't ask them to look at?

Richard, with the slide extended and supported from undermeath to take the weight of the slide (they use a hydraulic lift table) the slide mechanisms can be detached from the slide at the bottom outer end. Two small bolts as I recall. Removing a shim (approximately 3/8"x1"x1/8" thick) raises that end of the slide and changed the fit. That's right, remove to raise. Adding a shim lowers the slide. Kieth R at MOT did mine, two shims to adjust the front end of the slide up about 1/8"+. In and out several times to make sure and it was done, maybe an hour. Save the shims.
This applies to the 2001 slide mechanism which I understand was the same as the '99 and '00 coaches slides.

Will do. I'll put a note on my calendar. As noted earlier, we had our living room slide bladder replaced at FOT earlier this summer. Pleased with their work, but I also understand that for any of us spending most of our time on the west coast, Nacogdoches is not a short drive.
More after we've visited. My initial impression, after driving down in our toad just to meet the Oregon Motorcoach team, was very favorable.
