Anyone have a bus with a spotlight. I liked them on my Grand Villas and I have one laying around that I'd like to install on our 270. It looks like a good mounting point would be just aft of the front cap. Anyhow, I could use a photo is anyone can come up with one.
Thanks.

Thats where mine is mounted.
I miss ours, why it was removed, no clue, Not TOO far aft, John, want to have it swivel low, as well. What NOT to do is mount the switch and toggle up on the valance, as ours was. Mount it low where it's easy to adjust. Were I traveling in fog country a lot, I'd re-wire the headlight switching as to enable just the fogs to run, not the mains. With the spot & fogs, it works perfect!
Yep, just aft of the cap. Great device for spotting roadside suicide deer in hill country, finding your way into remote campsites. Controls for mine mounted bottom of retarder console, small joystick and switch.
These lights seem to have been sacrificed on newer coaches in the name of sleekness, poor move imho.
Thanks to all. I'll mount it an inch or so behind the cap seam. I had the same idea as Chuck for control placement. Always loved those spotlights!

Roof spotlight and Hadley's both can generate wind noises.
I turn my hid aftermarket spotlight around when not in use because of it.
Newer Hadley's like on a alpine coach were moved back on the roof for less noise.
Finally they were installed under the front of the coach I think.
There is a chrome version spotlight we had on both Airstreams, had a high & low setting. I think it was a marine application.
That is an amazing picture, Mike.
Back when we had only a few months off work to cruise. The pic is at the KOA in Flagstaff, AZ. It kept snowing and three days later, they plowed us out. Ah, those days! ^.^d
