Title: Fiberglass fix
Post by: GleamB on October 10, 2017, 09:37:18 pm
I was on our way to the Martin Guitar factory in Penn., and had a fight with a VERY NARROW, obsolete toll booth. The toll booth won. I have some minor damage I can't live with. We are on our way to Nac. Where do I go to have someone tend to our wounds??

Will be going to MOT for another reason. thanks

extreme.. I was there last week for an estimate. their estimate was a LOT better than FOT or Atkinson (recommended by MOT). extreme is busy, Kristin squeezed my small project in the week of thanksgiving, I was lucky cause at first she said after the first of the year!!!

Based on previous experience, I would schedule appointment with Extreme at the same time one knows they will be in for service at MOT or FT. That way one can be assured of getting into Extreme.  Very busy without any way of squeezing one in without appointment.

John,

Xtreme and MOT or FOT play well together. You will be happy with Xtreme.

I totally feel your pain.  Sunday afternoon when returning the coach to the hanger, somehow I managed to graze some concrete barriers in a very narrow lane.  I managed to  scrape every panel on the passenger side. We were fortunate we were going slow and not on major road going highway speed.  My wife and 4 year old daughter were with me.

I called Extreme and need to send them pics too.  We are going to be at MOT Nov 6th and then hopefully Extreme after that for the repair.

Glad to have this behind me as a newbie, hopefully nothing like this will ever happen again.

My send em pics estimate was a lot higher than my in person estimate for obvious reasons he has to error on the high side due to the unknown. Good luck on getting it in at th3 first of nov. I have a some what small job on the left lower front corner and the earliest I could get in was the week of thanksgiving. They are super busy and a small shop.
Mine to was a newbie mistake, I can't afford to make this mistake again!
