Title: Delamination
Post by: GleamB on October 12, 2017, 09:53:04 pm
While I'm in Nac, I think we need to have someone look at the delamination of the roof of our slide.

Where should we take it?? Anyone had this done. I understand you can't just shove glue in the opening and clamp it up. Do they have to take the slide out?? PO just installed a new bladder.

Hi Glenn,

You should consider Xtreme Paint and Graphics in Nac. Quality work! 7515 North Street

In '15, Rance caught our roof problem at Xtreme. An antenna was improperly deleted and some moisture created at soft spot. When he finished, the whole area looked like "factory."  I have always been a big fan of this guy, Rance, and IF you can get him to do a walk around on your coach, record the conversation. Very perceptive guy!

Since then, we had FT re-do the roof. Their treatment went over the top of Rance's superb roof restore.

Call ahead, but, call.

It is a known issue with that vintage. I had mine fixed at xtreme and they did a great job. They will fix it right by stripping. The skin and cleaning then putting it back and painting. It is going to be more then just your roof too I bet.

Why did you have to re-roof your first repair??

Any idea of what this type of repair is going to cost us??

Thanks

Probably 8-12 coach bucks depending on how many sides need to be done.  Maybe less if it is just the top.  YMMV.
