Raised Tag to leave gravel site, now it will not go down properly. It raises fine. But when it goes down the Lower Tag air bags remain deflated, both sides.
So we are stuck...
Any help???

Have you got full air pressure for other airbags and brakes?

Dick,
I don't have any specific knowledge of the tag axle operation, cuz we don't have one. But I know the tag air bags are controlled by the same type of solenoid valves as are used on the 6-pack manifolds. If your air bags are not inflating, the problem will most likely be either a electrical fault or a blockage/malfunction of the solenoid valves. There may also be some fuses involved - I assume they would be located in the HWH control box.
Do you have the trouble shooting manual for your leveling system? That is where I would look first. If you don't have the manual, they are available online. If you know what HWH series system you have, you can Google search for the manual, or it might be found on beamalarm.com or in the Forum technical library.
Here is the manual for the HWH 2000 Series. If this is your system, scroll down to the Trouble Shooting, Part 3, Problem # 3a.

Here is a link to the FoFum Library for your leveling system. You might find some info. there.

Don't know if it is practical for you, but the tag should automatically lower at 13 mph. Unless you are real heavy, will not damage your coach at that speed. Also should have a hwh reset switch on side panel below trans selector.
6 pack for tag??

Yep
This forum is truly awesome. Thank you all so much for jumping on this.
I was able to talk to Joe at HWH. We did a couple tests. The next test required me to crawl under to the tag manifold. To do that I needed to raise the coach and put my safety blocks in.
Now this is the hard part for me.....
I raised the coach, got out to safety blocks and when I tried to put the first one in place, I found there was already one there. Holy cow! Oh yes! I had changed the fuel filter and forgot to remove the blocks.
And, after removing the blocks the tag went down properly!
Something I hadn't noticed and which needs to be kept in mind. The green Travel light on the leveling control pad was NOT on. I think that was the clue. Once I removed the safety blocks, the coach was able to go to Travel mode AND the green light came ON. After that was accomplished the Tag Lower air bags inflated normally.
Now, having said all that, when we arrived at Redding Elk's for the night, the Leveling system does not work. Push the Air key and NOTHING! So will work on that tomorrow. Almost certainly something I did this morning is responsible.
Again, thanks for all the help.

Head slap! Yep... been there done that. (or something similar anyway!) :)
Hope the leveling problem will work itself out. ^.^d

Well, I reviewed everything I touched yesterday and it all look fine.
When I touch the Air key, nothing. No lights nowhere nohow. >:(
Had hopes Joe would call me back with advice, but at this hour I think not.
Dang....

Crazy...
We moved to Oakhusrt on the the 20th and the leveling system started working.
We moved to Visalia today, leveling still working.
Don't know why.
