Post by: bbeane on October 30, 2017, 08:32:55 pm
Anyone know how much oil it takes to drain the hyd tank and change the filters?  No flushing the system?

7.48 gallons per cubic foot of tank will get you in the ballpark for any tank or vessel, and SWAG at the innards.

Hydraulic tank, yours holds 23 qts, 12w40 motor oil for your hydraulic system, large black canister at rear of engine.

Jack,

Does your tank hold 23 qts?  or are you talking about your whole system?
Is 12w40 a typo?

Yes, it is standard Delo 400 15-40 just as the label on the reservoir says.
