In researching around I found the trim seal rubber gasket P/N of 75000720
I needed about 6' of the trim to complete what I needed... Problem was it cam in a 25' roll. I didnt want to buy so much without using most of it but I had already ordered the rubber sealant in a tube
The roll runs about $55.00

The rubber sealant was very sticky and dried real fast. I taped the trim up about every 6" and used the rubber sealant to run a bead over the tear.. after removing the tape I finished the remainder of the seal. I think it came out pretty good and it was a $12.00 fix. So far it has held great. Time will tell. So short story long is this..
IF it doesnt hold I will be in the same boat I was .. if this actually works then I saved $55.00.. cheap fix with a great product
If what you did doesn't work you might try what I did. The seal on the large compartment door on the driver's side leaked, no matter what I did.....until I removed the seal and put the end joint on the bottom. No more leaks!! Just taking the seal off and rotating it c'wise until the "join" was on the bottom lip of the compartment wall.

The black rtv sealer has been working like a charm.. still holding strong.. and cheap
I went about a couple inches at a time or so and stitched the seam and then went between the stitches after the first run dries a bit.. works great and didn't take to long
