I found a couple of remote key fobs online that bear the same FCC ID as the working remote we got with the rig. I found the attached programing instructions. A previous posting here referenced the control module "behind the kickplate". I assume this is in front of the passenger footwell? A picture of the control module would be great.
The attached instructions seem to indicate all remotes, including the working remote need to be re-entered. This is little troubling since at least I have one working remote. Has anyone reprogrammed FT remote key fobs? Do these instructions seem legit?
Thanks
Randy
The programming procedure for remotes requests that you redo all the remotes while you have the programming open. In other words you're going to do all your remotes at the same time, you can't hold back the one presently working remote. There is a push button behind a label on the front of the controller for the remote programming. Break through the soft spot in the center of the label to expose the programming switch (probably yellow in color). I found my controller box in front of the passenger seat panel, way to the right side of the opening.

randy could you post up some info on the key fobs you found. I have the box in the front kick plate but no fobs.. I wonder if the system still works if I had a fob? if they are cheap enough I might give it a try..
